What do the sprays smell like?
The ritual sprays capture the scent of the plant in every bottle. Currently offering Rose, Tobacco, and Cedar. Aromatherapy is usually from concentrated essential oils. Both the Cedar and Rose sprays are actually hydrosols, a skin safer form of aromatherapy. It contains strained plant material distilled down to the fragrant and medicinal parts of the plant. Some essential oil is extracted, giving it a gentle smell. We offer Rose, Cedar and Tobacco currently.
How do I use it?
The Rose and Cedar ritual sprays are hydrosols. they have anti-microbial properties and are great for your skin and hair. Be sure to patch test an area of your skin first. Rose is naturally cooling, perfect for warm weather. Keep it in the fridge for a cooling mist.
Tobacco has long been used from cultures around the globe as an offering, in spells, as a “power boost” to any petition or prayer, and for purifying. Indigenous peoples even used it for packing and cleaning wounds.
All three are great for your home or car as a room spray. Additionally these are formulated with the intention of using it in spellwork, wardings and rituals.
Cedar may be used for grounding, protection and clearing.
Rose for beauty, attraction and protection.
Tobacco for purifying, ancestral offerings, and clearing.
Once these products come into your life, your intuition will lead you to their specific purpose- there are no rules.

The dark glass bottle helps with the shelf life, but keeping it upright and away from the sun or any light is suggested. You may keep it in the fridge but it is not required. These products will keep about 1 year or longer with proper storage.
It is possible for the products to become contaminated, as it is organic and water-based. Be sure to throw the item away if there is a change to the smell or color of the product, or if the liquid becomes cloudy. You can check by emptying the bottle into a clear glass.

What is Sparkle Apothecary?
Sparkle Apothecary is the product branch of PDX Queer Tarot, owned and operated by Eden Sparkle. Sparkle Apothecary is a line of potent, plant-based magical products with the potential to lift your spirits, inspire and transform you. Eden is a clairvoyant psychic and noticed the plants started “talking” to them, asking Eden to help them reach people who needed healing in their community. Eden is not a certified herbalist but has received mentoring and education from certified herbalists, and their product making is largely led by the plant itself that is in each product.
Apothecary Disclaimer:
Eden makes these items in their home, using best practices for sterilization. Their family kitchen is different from a commercial factory environment. Every possible step is taken to reduce contamination, however proper storage of the ritual spray is required to maximize the shelf life.
